Just Another Day

It's another Saturday here in the Johnson house. This means that Steve is working and I'm home with Morgan and Jackson. Morgan earned a Book It coupon, so the kids had Pizza Hut for lunch and are watching Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (and fighting as well). I should be cleanning the house, but that's not as appealing as browsing the internet!

Yesterday was Morgan's Valentine's Party at school. Steve was able to leave work for a bit and surprised Morgan by coming. I was the room parent, again! I understand that many parents are not able to leave work for school parties, but they could at least send some supplies with their kids. I just don't get it!

Jackson has yet another new teacher in his classroom. He's been thru so many teachers since August that I've lost count. I spoke with the director and she explained that his new teacher has an MA in early child education and over 10 years experience. Angela, the director, is trying to hire lead teachers for every class with a degree. It was good to hear! I was very concerned because Jack had a hard time adjusting. He was doing so well with Miss Bri and Miss Courtni! It looks like Miss Bri will still be in the classroom as the assistant and Courtni will still be there, just not with Jack every day. I'm excited to see the changes in Jack since his new teacher has so much experience!
